Taking disability as an entry point to become a promoter of China‘s social development

Adhering to the slogan of International disability campaign, "Nothing about us without us", we adopt different ways of training and other advocacy tools when facing the public, based on demographics of the audience. Disabled people are protagonists, story-tellers and disseminators of event related to themselves. Therefore, they are also the integral part in the process of public education on disability topics. When facing the global community, we rationally, professionally and subjectively state the changes that are undergoing in the disability field based on the reality in China, and urge other domestic parties for further development. In the development of China's civil society, disability will no doubt become a true test for its progress, and OPO strives to be part of this advocacy effort.
